Employment Dilemma – The Customer is Livid!

Are they out of their mind?!?

Your employment dilemma… A customer is livid and taking it out on you. It wasn’t your fault. Do you…

a) Keep composed and look for resolution

b) Make it clear that it wasn’t your mistake

c) Go back at them. Who do they think they’re yelling at!

MORE NOTES from Marja Lee…

We’ve heard that the customer is always right. But ARE they? Sometimes they’re not… but I’m sure we’ve all been the customer on the phone with a clueless employee on the other end.

Even if it was really someone else’s fault, the customer DOESN’T CARE. Like the time you took your car in and it wasn’t ready when promised – or when you needed to print your (term) paper and someone was hogging the printer.

Usually out of frustration we tend to lash out at the other person. But, your goal is to make sure you’ve got a repeat customer not an angry one. Customers are more likely to retell their nightmare experience to twice as many people — embellishing it each time they tell it.

Remember, there is always a SOLUTION in RESOLUTION.

Keep check out my blog posts and challenge yourself and your friends to master the Employment Dilemma game. Post me a comment letting me know what you think of the answers!
